Discover the Spice Trail – Scents for Autumn

Discover the Spice Trail – Scents for Autumn

Autumn in the UK is a funny sort of time weather-wise, isn’t it? One day it’s positively balmy, and the next we’ve got rain coming in sideways and we’re digging out the coat from the back of the wardrobe

At the apex of a seasonal change, we’re ushering in the colder months whether we want to or not. But this is a time to rejoice when it comes to fragrance, because for those bottles you’ve been ignoring all summer, their time has come once again

You might remember we wrote a piece a while back about the science behind body temperature and fragrance (find it here). Give it a read! It might help as we move from summer into autumn, and you’re tasked with changing up your fragrance wardrobe to suit the weather

Right now, you’re probably finding you want a bit of spice and some woody warmth, but with a dash of floral or citrus. After all, it’s only September and you’re not ready to dive into the heavier stuff just yet, right? You want something that will linger on the skin in the warmth of the sunshine, but withstand the colder temperatures when the sun’s gone down

So as the days grow colder and the evenings draw in, join us on a voyage to discover the spice trail. Get wrapped up in comforting scents that’ll evoke memories of warmer climes, all with a touch of the orient and everything you’re looking for in a perfume that will carry you through to the depths of winter
